Tools of the trade....

How does a girl live a full and complete life when the barbarians at the airlines have reduced the luggage allowance to one bag under 50lbs?!? Its nearly impossible. The glamorous days of steamer trunks and porters are a thing of the past; now trying to haul my gear through the airport without looking completely frazzled is a weekly challenge. I credit a small bit of dignity to Tumi and the geniuses at Eagle Creek who invented the packing cube. I lamented for hours before buying my first Tumi suitcase because it was the most expensive item (besides a computer) I had ever bought. Now I have 3 of them. I discovered packing cubes last year and can't live without them.
This is all the stuff I'm dragging with me to Thailand. Maybe not all those shoes but probably most of them. See all my clothes are neatly rolled in the cubes? Heaven in a black mesh pouch I tell you!
