J is for Market

The JJ weekend market in Bangkok is like a swap meet on steroids. Hundreds of buildings make up the market and under each roof are roaming hallways that link stall after stall. You can find everything from antiques to gardening supplies to food to clothing to shoes.

Truly a shoppers paradise. I wandered for several heavenly hours and didn't even see 1/5th of the place. I'm definitely going back next weekend. If you're lucky you will benefit from my visits here.

Aerial view of the market from the skytrain.

If everyone knows the secret short cut, is it a secret any more? Of course not, unless the sign lies and it does. Heed Fletch's warning, don't take the short cut.Bargain hunters in their native habitat.
This shop sells nothing but things made out of coconut shells. Did I buy a giraffe lamp? Well, duh!
This is one of the wandering indoor hallways full of shops. (Sorry its blurry, I was a little excited by all the bargains!)
